Based on a character I saw in a dream one time.
Brett is the half-brother of John Smith, the "brother" of Goatman, the biological son of Margaret Smith and Arnold Frantz, and the adoptive son of Norman Smith. He was also romantically involved with Joanne Baldwin at one point.
He has a keen interest in (and a healthy fear of) the paranormal. He is estranged from his biological father.
While I was digging through my files, I found a little "bio" I wrote for him back in 2022:
- The biological son of Margaret Smith and Arnold Frantz. Brett considers Norman his real father, and detests his biological father.
- On top of having an insane father, Brett also witnessed a lot of unexplainable paranormal phenomena as a child, which left him emotionally stunted for much of his life.
- Brett just wants to make a living, have a normal life, and be as distant from Arnold as possible. Unfortunately, Arnold is always looking for new ways to worm back into Brett's life.
- Is close with his brother John, who is one of the only people he knows he can trust.
- Knows that Gygs is up to something. They hate each other.
- Brett desperately tries to convince John not to let Gygs stay at his house. This sometimes makes John upset.
- Goatman once tried to introduce himself to Brett as his brother. Brett couldn't sleep for a week.
- Romantically involved with Joanne.

Joe is a former stray cat that Brett took in.
While I was digging through my files, I found a little "bio" I wrote for him back in 2022:
- Brett's cat.
- Joe was originally a stray before Brett found him. He's terribly spoiled.
- Fancies himself an elite among cats.
