Syntax + blogging

I've noticed something kind of weird about myself while I've been working on this site.
normally on the internet id probably type like this -- but for some reason, I feel almost compelled to use proper syntax on this site. I guess it feels more "formal". Why does it matter? Is this a "formal" site? Am I gonna be showing it to my employers? I don't know! I guess I just like making tons of little fucking rules for myself!
I think my hope for having a "blog" section on my site is that someday I'll be able to look back on it and think about how far I've come. It's not really for other people to read so much as it is for me to dissect myself (which is one of my favorite pastimes). I worry about how long it'll really last, but I need to learn how to let go and live in the moment anyway.
I think I'd also like to do little reviews of movies and video games and shit on here.
